DYI Hickory Smoked Salt

I found a dry rub I wanted to use on our Thanksgiving turkey … but it called for Hickory Smoked Salt. 

I checked online and it’s $$$!

So then I checked out making it myself. 

Here’s what I did. 

1/2 C sea salt

1 Tbl Liquid Smoke (Hickory)

Mix, spread on cookie sheet, 200 for about 20 – 25 min or until dry. 

Store in glass jar.
