You know what a daunting task that can be!
Well I think I have found the best technique out there for measuring!
After you get everything cleaned and prepped …
Stuff the cucumbers in any size (sterilized) jar you want …
Then pour in half vinegar (your preference) and then half spring water.
Then pour that mixture (keeping cucumbers in the jar) into a non reactive pan.
Add spices of your choice to mixture and bring to a boil.
As soon as it boils … pour back over cucumbers.
Perfect! No waste or not enough.
Place lid on jar … let sit till cool … refrigerate.
I poke whole cucumbers with a fork a few times to make sure they soak up all the goodies …
Especially the halfa handful of chopped garlic I threw in!
