Riesling Peach Glazed Ham Recipe

I made this for Thanksgiving! mmmm…. it was delicious!

1 fully cooked (6-8 lb) ham (we had ours sliced)
1 C Riesling wine
2 sprigs fresh thyme
1 shallot, finely chopped
1 18 oz jar peach preserves
1/2 C packed light brown sugar
1/2 C stoned-ground mustard


1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Line a shallow roasting pan with foil
3. In a 1 quart saucepan, heat wine, thyme sprigs, and shallot to boiling over med-high heat
4. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered until the wine is reduced to 1/2 cup
5. Remove from heat and discard thyme sprigs
6. Stir in peach preserves, brown sugar and mustard
7. Brush half of glaze mixture over ham
8. Bake uncovered 1 hour, basting with remaining glaze
9. Bake until thermometer reads at least 140 degrees
